Very nice and cozy place with convenient price. Food was delicious, but don't expect to get your order in 20 min. This is perfect place for slow lunch or dinner
What a fantastic find! Café Socratous Garden is an absolutely beautiful spot, a true oasis in the middle of the Rhodes Old Town. It's lush with greenery and plants, creating a shady and cool atmosphere that is so welcome after wandering through the sunny streets. It's the perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended for a refreshing drink after exploring
After a chill day in Casa Cook Kolympia we caught the local bus to Rhodes next day……and of course the place to visit is the Old Town. Within the impressive walls and the many twisting and maze like streets we came upon this hideaway cafe/bar. Amongst all the stone structures and high walls this place is like a “shangri la” , full of beautiful trees and foliage, waterfalls and fountains which creates the perfect backdrop for eat,drinking and relaxing. The sun still shines through the trees but makes it the perfect temperature too. It’s busy with bustling waiters serving the needs of the customers and they are all so friendly and make you feel welcome. We had coffee followed by a few beers before reluctantly leaving to continue exploring. No food this time but certainly the various dishes whizzing past us all looked very palatable….
The environment is like a small paradise and super relaxing. The prices are extremely reasonable (taking into consideration it's touristic location), the coffee amazing, and the service very friendly. I would totally recommend it. Suitable for all, either couples or families. P. S. Pancakes are a must-eat if you are into sweets 😉
