We prefered seafood salad, dolmades, grilled squid stuffed,grilled sardines, julia white(500ml) for our dinner and for dessert panna cotta with mastic and frappe. Everything was perfect, also they have turkish menu too. Everybody was so kind and everything tastes very delicious. We ate a lot but it cost 60 euros. The view was amazing but there were a lots bees...
A must go restaurant in Chios! We were there as a family of four with two teenagers in early October. Had our dinner outside, next to the seaside with a mesmerising view! They set up a fresh table cloth for each meal. We ordered grilled fish, Greek salad, aubergine, steamed mussels, calamari, and variety of deserts after the dinner including the orange cake and chocolate sufle. Every single dish came with a perfect cooking style, taste and serving. Not a single flaw was in there. We loved it so much for the first evening so went again for our second evening and ordered the same dishes. My son was unwell on the second day so they offered a plain spagetti for him that easily eaten-and even that spagetti was well cooked and tasty! The family that owns the place was also friendly, welcoming and timely in serving! I will always remember the freshness and taste of the food in there and hope we can make it again one day!
If you are staying in Kataraksis, this beautiful seaside restaurant is a must-visit. You can enjoy your meal with the sound of the waves. They have excellent seafood. After the meal, they offer complimentary ice cream. Of course, the staff is very polite and friendly. Make sure to make a reservation.
My wife and I dined at Meltemaki for dinner and had a wonderful, welcoming experience. Sitting feet from the sea in a quiet town was the perfect way to spend an evening in Chios. The house salad was amazing! Filled with dried fig, orange, and Parmesan, it goes perfectly with some of the meatballs. We both loved the shrimp spaghetti but no trip to Meltemaki can be complete without trying the orange cake. It was one of the most amazing desserts I have ever tasted!!
