We arrived a bit early, but after 7 PM the place started to fill up quickly—not only with tourists, but also with locals, which is always a great sign that you’re in the right spot. Out of all the places we dined at during our stay in Chios, Pyxari served the best calamari by far—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. One detail that also stood out was the high quality of the balsamic vinegar used in their salads. It had a rich, intense flavor that elevated even the simplest dish. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, cleanliness, and a friendly, authentic vibe, I highly recommend giving Pyxari a try. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed meal and feel like you're part of the local culture.
WAW! WAW! What a pleasant surprise! We were a large group of friends coming for lunch and had a GREAT surprise with this restaurant. The salads were very elaborated, like kitchen chemistry in it's best way. Eating here was a complex experience because I ate with my eyes first and then with the mouth. The taste is as great as the looks. The owner was very kind and considered preparing food for our children based on their wishes. The restaurant is modern, very clean and it has even a lift for people with disabilities!!! We went there @ mid august and we couldn't go back from our vacation without one more visit. Second time was the same pleasant experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this place all the time!
