This was my 4th boat excursion with SeazeTheDay in Chania… it was incredible as every time I have been out with these guys! Every time I bring someone new with me to experience Crete- Taking a boat excursion is a must!! Marcus & Nikko are wonderful captains! They know all the great places to go, we swam, snorkeled and explored! Fantastic lunch, and drinks on the boat. I have been in the middle of the summer and in November and both times are great! I look forward to doing this every time I travel to Crete. It is a family owned company and everyone that works there is fantastic. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Crete. You will see so many things that you would never see by car or by foot. The captains know all of the history of all the island and coves. Every boat trip I have taken with these guys has been spectacular and I always see and learn something different.

Swimming just outside Menies Beach felt like discovering our own private paradise, and snorkeling near Theodorou Island to see the plane wreck in crystal clear water was unforgettable. What really stood out, though, was Makis himself. He’s friendly, thoughtful, and full of tips for exploring Crete. Conversation with him came naturally, and he struck the perfect balance between giving us space to relax and sharing insights about the area’s history and wildlife. Despite rough conditions (which we knowingly agreed to), we had an amazing boat trip to Elafonisi, Balos, Gramvousa, and our new favorite, Kedrodasos! Captain Makis showed his experience & expertise in navigating the choppy waters while going out of his way to make sure we were really having the best time. We were legitimately blown away (almost literally with the wind that day!) with how amazing the whole experience was. The boat day with Captain Makis was truly the highlight of our Greek vacation. Also, he timed the whole thing so that we got to Gramvousa after the big tour boat left, so we had the fort all to ourselves! It was such a treat & we hope this is something we are fortunate to do again in the future. Highly recommend!
We did a half day spear fishing trip and had the most amazing day. Panos and Nikolas did a great job of accommodating the day to our skill level by going to multiple spots with different depths. They really know what they’re doing and I wish we had booked for a full day. I would 100% recommend going, even if you’ve never spearfished before - I will definitely be booking with them again!
