Fonksiyonel yaşam uygulaması olmadan, 10-14 Ağustos 2025 tarihinde, iki aile olarak, Gökçeada’ya ilk kez tatil için geldiğimizde konaklamak için kaldık. Daha feribota binmeden Mehmet bey bizimle ilgilenmeye başladı. Otele ulaşana kadar bizi takip etti. Otele ulaştıktan sonra ki andan itibaren de yakın ilgilerini ve güzel ev sahipliklerini daha da yukarı taşıyarak bizleri ihya ettiler. Otantik yapısı ve köy ortamının etkilerini hissettiğiniz bir bölgede, sessiz bir ortamda huzurlu bir otel. Son derece keyifli bir dekorasyon ile döşenmiş odaları bizleri çok mutlu etti. Muhteşem ilgileri ile birlikte sunulan; kahvaltı ve yemekleri son derece lezzetliydi. Sadece oteldeki ilgileri ile kalmayıp, ada da ihtiyaç duyabileceğimiz her türlü durumlarımız ile ilgilenen Mehmet bey, tatilimizi kolay bir şekilde sürdürmemizi de sağladı. Sohbetleri ve mütevazı yapısı ile bizleri ayrıca memnun etti. Kendilerine tüm hizmetlerinden dolayı çok çok teşekkür ediyoruz; tekrar burası için tatil tercihimiz olduğunda, gözümüz kapalı geri döneceğimizden eminiz.
Tamamen şans eseri gördüğüm yorumlara bakarak kalmaya karar verdiğimiz yer… Nereden bilebilirdik ki hayatımızın en taze zamanlarında böyle bir deneyim yaşayabileceğimizi. Genç üç mühendis bir diş hekimi olarak tam anlamıyla eşsiz bir tatil geçirdik. Geldiğimiz ilk andan itibaren Mehmet Bey’in bilgi birikimi bizi büyüledi sonrasında da her sohbetimizde hayat tecrübesi ve yaşam felsefesini öğrenmek anlamak inanılmaz keyifliydi. Fonksiyonel beslenme konusunda bir bilgisi olmayan sadece konaklama ve oda kahvaltısı için gelen bizlere gerçek beslenmeyi öğrettiler. Bir dahaki gelişimizde kesinlikle fonksiyonel beslenmeye hazır geleceğiz. Bu iki günde bize Gökçeada’nın en lezzetli Oğlak Tandırını ve Mantısını hazırlayan Sultan ablamız ve her zaman yanımızda olan her ihtiyacımıza koşan Hamza’ya çok teşekkür ediyoruz. Burada sadece konaklamıyorsunuz aynı zamanda hayat standartlarınızın değiştiğini hissediyorsunuz sizin için her şey en ufak ayrıntısına kadar düşünülüyor ağzınıza koyduğunuz her lokmada oturduğunuz her koltukta değerli olduğunuzu hissediyorsunuz. Bu koşulları yaratan orada emeği geçen herkese çok teşekkür ediyorum. Mükemmeliyetçilik kavramını öğrenmek isterseniz buyrun gelin.
Asla geri dönmek istemediğim bir yer… çünkü ayrılmak bu kadar zor olmamalıydı. Muhteşem insanlar, harika bir hizmet anlayışı, leziz yemekler ve tarifsiz bir atmosfer… Burası sadece bir konaklama ya da beslenme yeri değil; hizmet anlayışıyla adeta sektöre ders veren bir yer. Fonksiyonel beslenmenin bu kadar lezzetli olabileceğini bize gösterdiler – faydalarını saymaya bile gerek yok. İçtiğimiz sudan, ekmeğe sürdüğümüz yağa kadar her şey ince ince düşünülmüş. Mehmet Abi’ye sadece sağlıklı yaşam ve fonksiyonel beslenme konusundaki engin bilgisi için değil, aynı zamanda hayatla ilgili verdiği samimi abi tavsiyeleri için de her zaman minnettar kalacağım. Sultan Ablanın güleryüzünü ve o muhteşem yemeklerini nasıl anlatacağımı gerçekten bilemiyorum. Annem, Sultan Ablanın yemeklerine bu kadar bağlandığımı öğrenmese iyi olur :) Hamza’nın nazik tavırları, içten sohbetleri ve gösterdiği ilgi… hepsi ayrı ayrı çok özlenecek. Dilerim bize anlattığın hayallerin bir bir gerçekleşir; hatta daha da güzelleri seni ve sevdiklerini bulur. “Hep bir aileyiz” denir ya; vedalaşırken gerçekten bir ailemi bırakıyor gibi hissettim. Umarım ben de burada sizin aileniz olduğumu hissettirebilmişimdir.
Hayatımda bu kadar özel bir tatil deneyimi yaşayacağımı hiç tahmin etmezdim. Buraya sadece konaklamaya gelmiştik ama ayrılırken gerçekten ailemizden bir parçayı geride bırakıyormuşuz gibi hissettik. Mehmet Bey’in bilgi birikimi, hayata dair paylaştığı tecrübeleri ve samimi sohbetleri bize çok şey kattı. Sultan Abla’nın güler yüzü ve emekle hazırladığı o muhteşem yemekleri ise kelimelerle anlatmak imkânsız; hem sağlıklı hem de tarifsiz lezzetlerdi. Hamza Bey'in nazik tavırları, içten sohbetleri ve her an yanımızda oluşu tatilimizi çok daha huzurlu ve değerli kıldı. Burada her şey en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüş; içtiğimiz sudan, sofraya gelen yemeğe kadar emek ve vizyon hissediliyor. Sadece konaklamadık, aynı zamanda kendimizi yeniledik, yeni şeyler öğrendik ve çok güzel insanlar tanıdık. Bizi ailelerinden biri gibi hissettiren başta Sultan Abla, Mehmet Bey ve Hamza Bey olmak üzere emeği geçen herkese gönülden teşekkür ederim. Bu güzel deneyim benim için unutulmaz bir anı olarak kalacak.
