Hizmet, lezzet, garsonlar, sanatçı Buziki Orhan Osman gerçekten çok güzeldi. Eğlencenin bu kadar iyi olduğu başka tavernaya rastlamadım. Çok çok tebrik ediyorum. Ayrica ortam da çok güzeldi. Fiyat ise oldukça makul. Ana yemek, mezeler ve icecek olarak kişi başı yaklasık 2.000TL tuttu. Bu fiyata bu hizmeti başka yerde almak mümkün değil. Gidecek olanlar kesinlikle düşünmeden gitmeli. :)
Mekan ve ambiyans güzeldi. Orhan Osman bizi hep eğlendirdi.Mezeler fena değildi .oğlak süperdi , balık güzel di ama ufaktı. Tabak kırma ücreti 1adet= 70 tl geliri için uygun olan kırabilir. Sadece fiyasko olan Uzun boylu kel garsonun hesap ödendikten sonra bahşiş yok mu demesiydi.. bu tarz güzel elit mekanın buna dikkat etmesini öneririm. Eğlence denince Barba yorgoyu tavsiye ederim...
Gökçeada'daki Barba Yorgo deneyimimizi tek bir potada eritip yorumlamak gerçekten çok zor. Çünkü bu mekanda aynı gece içinde hem 5 yıldızlık bir keyif hem de 1 yıldızlık bir hayal kırıklığı yaşadık. Keşke sanatçıyı ve mekanı ayrı ayrı puanlama imkanım olsaydı. Gecenin kesinlikle parlayan yıldızıyla, yani olumlu kısımlarla başlamak istiyorum. Kapıdan girer girmez, mekanın sahibi olduğunu düşündüğümüz Barba Yorgo Bey'in misafirlerini tek tek elini sıkarak karşılaması, daha önce hiç rastlamadığım kadar samimi ve sıcak bir jestti. Bu misafirperverlik, geceye dair beklentilerimizi bir anda yükseltti. Sahne alan sanatçı Orhan Osman ise kelimenin tam anlamıyla bir buzuki virtüözü. Sadece enstrümanına olan hakimiyetiyle değil, aynı zamanda seyirciyle kurduğu o sıcak ve enerjik bağ ile de mekanı tek başına sırtlayıp götürdü. Orhan Osman'ın olduğu bir yerde eğlenmemek imkansız. Bize yaşattığı bu muhteşem müzik ziyafeti ve unutulmaz anlar için kendisine ne kadar teşekkür etsek az. Ne var ki, gecenin bu büyüsü mekânın sunduğu diğer hizmetlerle aynı seviyede değildi ne yazık ki. Her ne kadar uygun fiyatlı bir fiks menü seçeneği sunulsa da, lezzet ve kalite açısından beklentilerimizin çok altında kaldı. Gökçeada'da, bir Rum tavernasında özgün ve lezzetli mezeler tatmayı umarken soframıza gelenler oldukça sıradandı. Özellikle servis edilen karides, adeta bir hayal kırıklığıydı; marketten alınmış ve pişirildiğinde küçücük kalmış, tabakta hiç de hoş durmayan bir üründü. Bu sunumu yapmak yerine menüde hiç olmaması çok daha iyi olurdu. Asıl büyük hayal kırıklığını ise servis ve personel tavrında yaşadık. Gece boyunca ilgisiz olan garsonların, hesap ödeme aşamasında adeta zorla bahşiş talep etmeleri son derece rahatsız edici ve profesyonellikten uzaktı. Bu yakışıksız tavır, doğal olarak iyi niyetle bırakabileceğimiz bir bahşişi bile vermememize neden oldu. Ne yazık ki, personel kalitesi ve hizmet anlayışı mekanın genel atmosferine hiç yakışmıyordu. Sonuç olarak, eğer sadece Orhan Osman'ı dinlemek ve o harika eğlenceye dahil olmak için gidiyorsanız, kesinlikle doğru yerdesiniz. Ancak lezzetli yemekler ve kaliteli bir servis beklentiniz varsa, büyük bir hayal kırıklığı yaşayabilirsiniz. Sırf o muhteşem müzik performansı ve Barba Yorgo'nun sıcak karşılaması hatırına puanımı yüksek tutmak istesem de, servis ve yemek kalitesindeki bu ciddi eksiklikler nedeniyle daha yüksek bir puan vermem mümkün değil.
Temmuz başında memnun olarak ayrıldığım bir işletmeden bu akşam üzüntüyle ayrıldım . Fix menü yapılmış fakat menü doyurmadı. Mezeler kötü . Karides soğuğa yakın ve aşırı yağlı. Kalamar kayış gibi sosu sulu. Çay servisi kalkmamıza yakın ve karton bardakta geldi . Garsonlar ilgili değildi . Buziki Orhan güzeldi . Otopark sorunu var bunu biliyoruz fakat mekanın kapısının önüne kadarda girmezsin yani ve mekana giriş zordu . Rezervasyonu 1 gün önceden yapmamıza rağmen not alınmamış ve hatalarını bizi en arka masaya oturtarak gidermeye çalıştılar.
