We stayed at OKU Kos as a honeymoon couple and had a fantastic experience. The hotel’s design is beautiful and the whole atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The staff were always friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the lovely beach area, and the board provided for use in the sea added a lot of fun to our days. Everything was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully arranged. Special thanks to the hotel manager, Alex Efstratiadi, for his exceptional care and attention throughout our stay. I stayed at OKU Hotel Kos and was pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a suite — a lovely gesture that made the stay even more enjoyable. The interior design is truly stunning, perfectly capturing that refined boho-chic style the hotel is known for. The beds are fantastic, and the reception staff were consistently friendly and attentive. However, the overall value for money could be improved for a 5-star property. Perhaps it was due to the end of the season, but the service attention wasn’t always up to the same high standard as the design and atmosphere. And while I enjoy a good Aperol Spritz, €18 felt a bit ambitious — even by Munich standards. Still, it’s a beautiful place with a unique vibe, and I’d happily return, hoping to experience the same charm with a bit more consistency in service next time.
Excellent location, nice beach, well designed property Several rooms are partially run-down and ill-located (e.g. close to road w/ construction sites, dysfuncitonal fridges not allowing you to sleep, etc.) Other, higer-category rooms are quite decent (so if you ensure NOT to book a standard room).. Staff not very engaged and helpful, lousy customer service. Overall not to be recommended!
