It is a very warm welcoming place with lovely people. We enjoyed every second of our vacation. It is super close to the beach but if you know the directions, you can find it more easily. The owner helped us a lot and show how to go to see around. It is also very close to the old town. There are several markets nearby. You wont regret if you choose here. We strongly recomment here.
The apartments are very clean and in a perfect location. Only 5 minutes down to the water with nice restaurants and great view. Old Town is 10 minutes walking distance away. But THE BEST was our host Zoja. She was there for us 24/7, it doesn't matter what we needed. Great hospitality, advice, service, or just a chat. We absolutely 100% recommend her place, and we will definitely come back!
We had an excellent stay at Castello Apartments. The landlady, Zoja, lives next door. As soon as we pulled in she came out to show us our apartment. The views are amazing. Better, the quiet promenade is a walk down some steps and then a walkway. There are at least a half dozen waterfront restaurants within a 10 minute walk (we wound up going to Jet Ski restaurant nearly every night of our stay). Of course, the old town and all of the associated bustle are about 15 minutes walk the other way down the promenade and out onto the main road. The apartment is fresh and clean and well maintained. We are so glad to have stayed here rather than closer to the old town. The only caution I would give is that - in typical Montenegrin fashion, the driveway is at a severe angle to the main road making ingress and egress a bit of a white knuckle affair for the uninitiated driver. That being said, we never moved the car our entire stay because we were a short walk to everything. We would definitely stay here again.
Couldn't recommend this place more! Excellent location, spotlessly clean, wonderful host, nice big bed (so important for us) and the best view we could have asked for. If you can, book room 5 (on the 3rd floor) because I think it's the best room in the building in terms of size and view. The apartment had free parking and it was only a 5-10 minute walk into Old Town and a 3 minute walk to the beach/promenade.
