It was perfect. :) The owners were really kind and informative about the area, the room was beautiful, quiet and clean. The room had a fridge, aircondition in the living room and the bedroom, toiletries in the bathroom, and a really pretty athmospher everywhere. You can park there free, they have even a small part of the beach with deck chairs. Near are the postoffice and lots of good restaurants. It is between Kotor and Tivat, so you can easily go to visit this cities by bus or car. I really recommend you the place.
Our large, two-family group of 7 stayed here at the beginning of August and it's hard to decide where to start the praise. The location is ideal, on a relatively quiet stretch of the arterial road running along the coast of Boka Kotorska (the deep bay of Kotor). The road there has no curves, preventing any buildup of traffic. There is also a spacious parking space for guests at the house. The house itself is a beautifully restored, traditional rustic stone house, with the host family staying at one half of the house, while the other half holds 4 guest apartments and common space. There is also a kitchen where breakfast is prepared and sauna/jacuzzi room which can be booked in advance. The bedrooms are en-suite, sparkling clean and beautifully appointed, freshly make bedding every day - providing top-notch comfort and ambiance that nicely suits the house environment. There is a small private stone dock on the water in front of the house, with reclining chairs and umbrellas, cushions and towels - perfect little spot (I highly recommend early morning swims!). Because we were a large group, the hosts thoughtfully placed us in the kitchen for breakfast to leave the couples in more privacy in the common space. Breakfast is well worth the small extra charge, it is tasty and plentiful and sourced locally from their own gardens and/or family production - delicious cold cuts, cheese, bread, vegetables - and eggs a la carte, of course. I can't emphasize enough how fantastic the hosts were - especially Stefan whom we dealt mostly. Both Stefan and his parents treated us like family, in a truly personal, friendly local fashion that made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Absolutely anything we requested, Stefan accommodated in the quickest timeframe - whether it was something we requested for the room, boat trip or car trip booking. They have plenty of great suggestions of which places to visit in the Bay and out, restaurants, etc. - and they can arrange all the bookings if you want to skip the hassle of doing it yourself. We absolutely loved our stay at this charming place in Stoliv and one would be hard-pressed to find a better whole-package experience on the Adriatic Sea. I highly recommend this place and hope to return there soon...and perhaps visit Stefan's new winery in the works!
Everything was great. Huge thanks to Petrica and her family for everything. They are very friendly and informative owners, they care for anything you will need. The location of the place is between Tivat and Kotor. And I assure you that this location is the greatest place to live/stay in that area. The view from the hotel is fabulous, and the town of Stoliv, in which this hotel is located in, is a fascinating-town. Along the whole bay of Kotor, the scenery is tremendous everywhere, but trust me this place is on another level. Had a very very good time overall. And I strongly recommend to anyone else who will read this. Hoping to come for the 2nd and 3rd and 4th time too 😊
