We spent 5 days at Hotel Credo, and even the rainy season couldn’t put a damper on our holiday! Below is an honest breakdown of our experience and thoughts during our stay. The hotel is about 6–8 minutes’ drive from Old Town—quite a walk, but my husband and I didn’t mind it at all. 1. Perched atop a hill, the hotel boasts stunning views. The reception area has a vibrant, welcoming vibe, and I loved the bowl of free candies available there. 2. Our room was spacious, with plenty of cabinets, drawers, and hangers. The TV had YouTube and Netflix, lighting was ample, and the air conditioning worked well. As someone who loves doing my makeup, the mirrors were a must-have and made me feel right at home. 3. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with a hair dryer provided. We also got free slippers, plus handwash and bodywash from the brand Rituals—something I really enjoyed. 4. The balcony offered a relaxing, scenic view. 5. Complimentary water, tea, and coffee were provided, and there was a fridge stocked with paid drinks and chocolates. 6. The hotel’s transportation coordination was excellent—they offered convenient drop-off and pick-up services anytime, with great communication. It cost €15 for two people. 7. The continental breakfast was fantastic. I’m not usually a breakfast person, but I loved the spread—especially the croissants and omelets. There were also plenty of coffee options to choose from. 8. We had access to the rooftop even in the rainy season, and while swimming would’ve been lovely in summer, we still enjoyed the panoramic views. 9. Last but certainly not least, the staff were wonderful—thank you all so much! A special shoutout goes to Burkay, Hotel Credo’s manager. He picked us up from the airport and made sure every detail was arranged perfectly. He’s friendly, speaks English fluently, and is a truly great manager. And to Osman thank you! We had the most amazing stay back in June. The staff were incredible, so friendly. Despite not speaking the fluent English, they did everything they could to communicate and we could not fault them at all. Rooms were gorgeous. Rooftop pool was incredible. We loved the views!! Will definitely return. Location is fabulous too, close enough to Kotor but nice and chilled and lots nearby! Only wish is they had a little bar!
I would like to thank Mr. Osman. He helped us a lot. Along with the other breakfast items, the croissants were very fresh and delicious. For me, a croissant with honey, jam, and butter was more than enough. There are options for those who like eggs and omelets, as well as sausages, fries, other alternatives, and fruit. We could always find tea, and they kindly offered it. Our room was clean and spacious, with high ceilings that made it feel even more airy. It had a wonderful large balcony with a stunning sea view. We felt very comfortable and didn’t even leave the hotel on hot days.
My wife and I had a great experience in Hotel Credo. The hotel has a pool on the roof with a stunning view. The rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was also very nice. Most importantly, the owner and staff were very warm and helpful. Getting around Kotor without a car can be tricky and the taxis can demand extortionate prices, but the Credo team helped us get around at very fair prices. They really look after their guests.
