Fantastic guest house in a peaceful location - old town. Every detail made the stay special - cozy décor, helpful staff, and that relaxing garden. A perfect place to unwind.
With 15€ a night directly in the old town of Kotor the place is really affordable and I would recommend staying here! The volunteer was really nice, the beds are comfy, quite wide and have curtains and storage, the AC is good. The only downside is the bathroom as there only is one and it's not the most modern and the floor get's flooded easily. Personally for this price I didn't mind too much, I still think it's a great place to stay :) PS: It's a little hard to find, hope the foto helps. It says "Majka 2" on a little sign next to the door and then you have to text them to let you in.

This place is in the heart of Old Town but it has no heart. There's no social atmosphere. There is literally only one bathroom with a toilet and one shower in the same room for over 20 beds. The bathroom is almost always wet on the floor and dirty because there's so many people using it. You have to hold the shower head because it's broken. We had to ask multiple times to replenish the toilet paper. Multiple times had to go to the bathroom without toilet paper because you would risk losing the bathroom to someone else. The girl that works there is friendly. The guy with pony tail that works there is kind of a creep and extremely poor customer service. He was trying to hit on one of the girls in our group. I think he uses the place to try to hit on girls that are staying there. If you need a place to stay for one night because you don't have a reservation this place might be bearable because it's cheap. But don't expect any type of amenities or social atmosphere. Pretty much just a place for older locals to stay or people that are on a very tight budget and can tolerate sharing one bathroom for being disturbed at night because people have to walk through the 6/8 bed dorm to get to the bathroom from the other rooms. So they have to turn on the lights or open the doors or walk on the wooden floors that make noise. Or they are stumbling over bags that people leave in the tight space between the beds to get to the bathroom. Be conscious of this place. You get what you pay for. It's cheap but there's no customer service. If anyone's smoking it makes the whole place smell like smoke. Plus they may try to charge you $10 euro fee if you show up after midnight because the bus was late which is a common occurrence in Montenegro because it's so much traffic in the summer and getting across the border can take much more time than advertised by the buses. I arrived after 12 at like 1:00 a.m. and they try to charge 10 euro but I complained in a waved it but you shouldn't even have to complain. I guess you get what you pay for with this way place. It's cheap but no customer service or social atmosphere.
