Guest Experiences: What Visitors Are Saying

Alma Hotel enjoys a strong reputation, reflected in its impressive 4.7 out of 5 rating based on 351 reviews. Many guests praise the hotel for its “magnificent location and facilities,” highlighting the peaceful atmosphere that sets it apart from busier Greek islands like Mykonos or Lefkada. Reviewers have noted the “very human management” and the friendly, attentive staff who make visitors feel right at home.

Guests appreciate the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, with several mentioning the large balconies and comfortable layouts. One particularly fond review describes the hotel as “like a little village” with ample space to relax both inside and out. The breakfast served on the terrace receives high marks for its variety and quality, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

That said, some travelers have pointed out areas where the hotel could improve, such as room furnishings and plumbing updates. While the hotel offers solid comfort and a welcoming vibe, it may be better suited for guests with moderate expectations and budgets, rather than those seeking ultra-modern luxury. Still, for many, the peaceful setting, helpful staff, and authentic island charm more than compensate.

Loved the hotel and staff! Please feed the old shy orange cat wet food (50 cents at the supermarket) like we did. He’s old, not doing too well nor too bad, but he warms up on you! And he deserves love

It deserves 5 stars! Definitely! Because: -The room where I stayed was large. The air conditioner was located nicely so that you cannot catch a cold when it works. -The balcony was large so that you could hang your wet clothes here and there. -The breakfast and hall was quite nice. The menu was rich. -There was enough space to park your cars. -The beach and the small cafe before hotel was nice. You can swim and chill at the cafe. -Overall, the working personnel was friendly.

Wonderful hotel with quiet and peacefull atmosphere. It is built like a little village with everything you need near you. Lots of outside and inside space to spend time and have a drink. Rooms are big and sparkly clean. Breakfast is more than enough and it is served on a beautifull terrace with a stunning view. The pool area is nice too. But above all, the staff is amazing. A big thank you!Would recommend from the bottom of my hearth!
