Perfect place in Petra. I come here several times a year during my vacation in Anaxos (village nearby) I read about it before and saw the recommendations here. I find the table for me only easy at 17-18.00 even if the table was reserved I just want to eat and go, so they allow me to seat. Recommend you to order octopus in wine souse. Was fantastic, but a less salty could be better. But anyway I found this dish very 😋 tasty. Greek salad is the best I eat in Greece. Fresh good quality of tomatoes, big portions, my stomach was super satisfied.😊 PS! And the tables with amazing view make this place special and give you magical feelings.
The place was incredibly crowded—even in the off-season, having a reservation seemed almost necessary. Luckily, we managed to find a spot. The fast service and warm, family-like atmosphere were very nice. The complimentary dessert and wine were also delicious. I think we may have made a poor choice from the menu, so in terms of taste and how satisfying the meal was, it fell a bit short for us. The shrimp had a strong anise flavor, which we didn’t really enjoy. The other dishes were generally tasty, but as I mentioned, our specific order wasn’t the best. Since we didn’t like the flavor in the shrimp and the overall selection was a bit weak, we left not feeling very full. Still, overall, we left satisfied—mainly thanks to the service and the atmosphere. 🫶🏽
By eating at this restaurant, you can not only enjoy the traditional food of the island, but you can also help the association of women who, through their work, can secure the necessary income and be more independent. The place is very crowded and offers an excellent sunset.
Their stuffed courgette flower filling is unique. It is filled with cheese and fried. I like "dolma" version but this one is also very good. Very local atmosphere, local cuisine. Strongly suggested if you stop by Petra.
