I had a wonderful experience at Villa Danezis. The rooms were very clean, very comfortable, with an amazing design that combines both modern and traditional architecture. The staff was amazing, delightful and eager to help. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They really made your day. A big plus is the exterior, where you can relax in the pool, the bar and the lounge. The village of Messaria, where the hotel is located, is a beautiful, picturesque village, ideal for escaping the crowded places of the island, but also a short distance from them in case you want to visit them (Fira is just 10 minutes away with a car). I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Santorini.
This place is beautiful and the hosts are amazing!!!! They showed us nothing but 100% absolute kindness. Thank you so much for all that you did for us during our stay! You made our time there so wonderful!! The rooms were clean and comfortable with a balcony outside that we sat on nightly. The location was fantastic right in the middle of Santorini , we rented an ATV for a ridiculously reasonable price (thanks to the hosts for helping us arrange that) and we freely traveled the entire island and loved every second!! The pool here is also FANTASTIC by the way!!!! If you get a chance to stay here DO IT!
Nice property, with pool. We had room 7 with a balcony and view of the countryside. The property has stairs and no elevator, so be prepared to lift your luggage. The room was spacious, with mini fridge and air conditioning. However, the shower stall had no curtain nor door, so the floor kept getting wet, and no hooks for to hang the bath towels to dry. There were very few electrical outlets for charging your devices, no luggage racks and no safe. For me it was a bit far, as we had to walk along the road, which has no shoulder, for 15 minutes before reaching the nearest town, Mesaria. We didn't see the local bus, so ended up taking a taxi to Fira for 15 euro, so it wasn't that convenient for us without a car or tour. We ended up doing a bus tour, but it also wouldn't drop us off at this hotel, saying the streets were too small for their bus to navigate... unless I understood what they meant. It would be a great place to relax, away from the tourist hub if that's what you want. Very affordable, we paid 85 euro per night!
Stayed here over the weekend. I had a good time. Room and bathroom area were large and neat. I got in at midnight and the staff were thoughtful enough to leave my key by my door so I was not stranded.
