We had an amazing time. The setting is amazing, with great views and wonderful sunset. The decor and ambience was very nice, but not at all over the top, felt like subtle luxury. Both the concept of the sharing dishes and their execution was excellent - each served beautifully, then split between the two of us for a series of delicious and varied dishes. Finally, the service we received from Fillipos and Poly was brilliant - they were perfectly attentive without being overbearing, charming and passionate. The price point reflects all of the above, but would highly recommend if you're looking for a special meal on Santorini!
We had an amazing evening at Blu in Santorini. The view alone is worth the visit. What really stood out though was the service. Mateo, the restaurant manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and the whole team was attentive without ever feeling overbearing, Ioanna and Polixeni were excellent and were sharing little morsels of Santorini history, which we loved. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. From start to finish, everything felt effortless and polished. Between the incredible setting, the warm service, and the food, it really made us feel like queen and king of the castle for the night. We wish we took more photos, but were too busy being mesmerised by the view and the service. Blu is already in a gorgeous location, but the way they run the place takes it to another level. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we had in Santorini.
Perfection in every way. High gastronomy, finest and freshest ingredients, excellent service and a stunning view. We came for our honeymoon and were not only served delicious food, but also offered the best dessert of our entire trip on Santorini. Finally, I have to mention again the excellence of the service. Everybody was very attentive to our every need and the attention to details by the staff was inspiring. Please try their catch of the day, chicken and grilled calamari, every bite was to die for.
Without a doubt the best restaurant we visited in Santorini. Not only was the venue beautifully designed, especially the sleek marble, with a sensational sunset view of the caldera but the meal was incredible. Every item we ordered was amazing but the grilled calamari and the eggplant with red pepper foam were stand out starters and the shredded ox tail was a stand out main. From when the hosts greeted us at the door until the time we left, the service felt seamless and attentive. The sommelier and staff humoured our questions about the wine and food and gave us information and history about the island. The venue manager, Mateo, especially made us feel taken care of. We cannot wait to return to try the rest of the food we couldn’t fit this time.
