Went for sunset dinner & I was not let down by the whole experience. The sunsets here are stunning and a great viewpoint, the service is great so many waiting staff available to help. They offered my wife and baby blankets as the evening went on which I liked. The food - Stunning. The Sea bass was probably the best piece of white fish I’ve ever eaten, unreal. The Calamari tasted fresh I loved it was lightly battered and not at all chewy. Fresh tasting Greek salad & a feta and honey dish to die for.
Food is amazing with spectacular views of the caldera, we visited twice on our trip it was that good. I was a little disappointed that on the second night we approached a member of staff to make a reservation for the following night, before I even opened my mouth he put his hands in the air and abruptly said ‘full’. We did however manage make the reservation for the following night and it did not disappoint, food and atmosphere were fantastic.
We made a reservation for Fanari for the food and sunset, but we did not expect so much more than that. The service was exceptional and our waiters and front house staff went above and beyond. They were so accommodating and the food was very fresh. We ordered seafood (sea bass, octopus, & bream) and tomato balls. The meal was fantastic, but the service and personalties of the staff was exceptional.
We came to this restaurant 18 years ago with our 2 daughters and loved it. 18 years later we were not disappointed. The staff were wonderful and Eni our waiter really looked after us. Renato lati the welcoming staff member was great and took some great photos of us. Highly rate the views from this location. A beautiful place to view the sun setting and enjoy local cuisine. Loved it
