Day trip to Kotor from Dubrovnik, lovely walled town influenced by the Venetians architecturally. Fine old buildings , plenty of eateries and scenic views of the mountains.Market along the harbour front. Well worth a visit.

We very much enjoyed our day walking and site seeing while in Kotor, lovely old buildings and narrow streets, plus walking round the marina to see the super yachts moored up, not forgetting all the cats that roam around are well looked after, majority of the shops have some to do with cats

Kotor Montenegro is town, not the restaurant. Beautiful, breathteaking old town. Kotor is a historic old town built over different periods, and you can clearly see the architectural influences of the Venetian Republic, Austro-Hungarian Empire, and even the French. Much of it is well-preserved, though some parts are showing their age. One of the town’s most charming features is its population of cats—they’re everywhere! There’s even a clever recycling machine where you insert a plastic bottle and it dispenses food for the cats. However, what I didn’t enjoy was the overwhelming crowd, especially from the cruise ships. The town is simply too small to handle that many tourists at once, which takes away from its unique atmosphere.
