It’s clear they use quality ingredients and have a talented kitchen. However, be prepared for the "Karas Portion." The servings are not just generous; they are monumentally huge! It became a running joke among the diners—we heard every table around us "complaining" in the best way possible, with exclamations of "Look at the size of this!" and "How are we ever going to finish this?!" It's not a real problem, just a very genuine surprise. Consider sharing a few dishes between two people, or go with a hearty appetite! The other standout feature was the amazing staff. They were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel like honored guests from the moment we walked in, happily explaining dishes and ensuring we had everything we needed. Verdict: Karas offers incredible, delicious Greek food in portions so large they’ve become legendary. Go for the fantastic cuisine and the wonderful service, but maybe skip lunch! 🫶🏻🇬🇷
It's a nice place near the ferry port. The food was delicious, we ordered Honey Feta, chicken gyros and Thassos chicken. All of them were above our expectations. We also saved the place, because if we ever come back to Thassos we will wisit this place again, for sure
Lovely taverna next to the ferry port. We had very delicious lunch. The greek salad was so tasty with amazing tomatoes! Classic pork gyros portion and mussels saganaki. The bread was very good as well. The staff were perfect and fast. I love it.
Amazing taverna across the port. Food is great and the service as well. We were a very big group over 40 people and all the orders arrrived very quickly. I will definitely come back. ❤️
