We had a really nice experience on the mussel tour! It was fascinating to learn more about mussels and how they are caught – a side of seafood you don’t often get to see. After the tour, we enjoyed a lovely meal at a cozy restaurant with a stunning view. The mussels were, of course, delicious, and the wine paired perfectly. A great way to spend an afternoon!
Amazing and Relaxing Experience – A Must-Do in Ksamil! This Mussel Sailing Tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Albania! The entire experience was incredibly relaxing and well-organized. Sailing through the beautiful waters around Ksamil while learning about mussel farming was both unique and fascinating. Our guide was especially fantastic – knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, which made the tour even more enjoyable. The mussel lunch was absolutely delicious, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Tasting the local wine and other drinks was the perfect touch. If you’re looking for a peaceful and enriching experience with amazing food and a great atmosphere, this tour is an absolute must!
We expected more involvment in mussels collections and work around it. It s basically ceossing the lake on boat with a short stop to see a mussle bed and get 10 min info (the group was big so didnt want to bother and kept quiet even if i was not sure i did understand what is the guide saying) to the restaurant. No cooking together as it was in the description, on the other hand we tasted 3 different mussel dishes instead of 2. Overall great dinner 👍
